Appreciating the beauty of a cat’s paw
I love it that these guys tied some balloons to their boat. Made me smile.
Now that’s what I call a slick boat, parked on the Nassaudekade in Amsterdam.
This is the symboll of an organisation in Holland which is against mindless violence and I cam across it walking down the Jan Pieter Heijstraat here in Amsterdam.

When living in Amsterdam, you’re never short of an unusual and down right puzzling sight. So while waiting for a friend on Waterlooplein the other day, I shouldn’t have been surprised to see a tree with masses of teddy bears hanging from nooses. But I have to say, I was a little!
I call this poor soul Ted. Ted the Teddy who sadly couldn’t take it any more. Or perhaps he was involved in some cult and was a happy chap before joining. Perhaps he was thrown out of a car window by a child who preferred to play his Nintendo. Who knows. Poor little might.
R.I.P. Ted.
Look at that face. This little man was quite reluctant to have his picture taken, it was as if he was self conscious about his lop sided face. If this were a human we’d call him ugly. But his irregular features just make him so adorable. I’m thrilled I eventually got the shot, straight to camera…and that tongue. ![]()
I was never the sort to have the patience to keep a diary, but as my life speeds up, i find that I’m constantly hurtling into the future and not having time to either reflect or simply remember the many experiences and adventures that pepper my life.
It’s only been a couple of weeks of writing and already I’ve quite a sensational little book. Age 50, I think i’ll use it to write my memoirs.

Since my 2 years of Marketing Blogging got wiped, I decided a fresh start wasn’t such a bad thing so I am turning my blog into more of a photography & lifestyle blog.
And to kick it all off, this is one of my favorite photos, I took it last Autumn on my way home through central Amsterdam. I was sick and needed to go home to rest but got so inspired by the light and amazing reflections that I hung around the centre for 3 hours in torrential rain trying to capture the beauty.
For me this photo speaks of a dark, comic book, metropolis. Reminds me of Gotham City.
